The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Kuwait maintains regular working hours for all its sections. Please note that the Consular Section operates on appointment only for most services. Walk-in services are available for emergency matters.

Public Holidays
The Embassy is closed on Sri Lankan public holidays and Kuwaiti national holidays. Please check the Public Holidays page for the full list.
Appointment Required
Most Consular Section services require a prior appointment. Please contact the Embassy at least 2–3 working days in advance.
Ramadan Hours
During the holy month of Ramadan, office hours are adjusted. Consular services operate from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on working days.
Emergency Services
Emergency consular assistance is available 24/7 via the emergency hotline. This includes arrests, deaths, and situations of serious distress.
